Badaguish
We had a fantastic time on our residential trip to Badaguish on Tuesday 7th June. We saw polar bears at the Highland Wildlife park, even with rain and thunder this did not dampen our spirits. The next day was Landmark, where the sun shone and it was all out fun. Our chalet was very comfortable and we all helped tidy up before we had to leave and head for some archery on the way home.
The Cup visits Badcaul
A Ross County coach bought the winners cup for a visit to school and talked to us about being a professional footballer.
Open Day
The parents were invited to a maths workshop with Kirsten Mackay the Highland Numeracy Advisor. After this we dressed as pirates and captured parents and carers to take to our maths tables to demonstrate some of the games and activities we find useful in class. The there were tasty cakes and tea before the parents could look at our work in class. There was a display of Pirate portraits and biographies which are now on display at the Macphail centre in Ullapool until the beginning on July.
